Introduction to touring
Bowcombe Creek SUP Tour

Advanced beginner to Competent paddlers

This tour is ideal if you have just learned how to SUP and feel ready to start exploring. At 1.5 hours, you’ll have a chance to improve your paddling skills and explore one of our beautiful creeks with a stop for refreshments including the free option of a cream tea before paddling back to our activity centre in Kingsbridge.
Please make sure you turn up 15 before your session start time so we can get the admin out of the way and get you kitted up.
Sunset SUP Tour
1.5 hours
£40 per person
Advanced beginner to Competent paddlers
Age guide 14+
Group size 1 – 5 people
Sunsets are gorgeous on the Kingsbridge to Salcombe estuary. The water becomes a calm and tranquil place to paddle. We’ll head out into the middle of the estuary and watch the ever-changing kaleidoscope of colours as the sunsets and the light fades. It’s a magical time of the day and you’ll return to our activity centre with a feeling of peace and serenity.

Waterborn Lesson/Tour Skill Level
Novice – Never been on a Stand Up Paddleboard, or very limited experience
Advanced Beginner – Happy standing on the board and basic paddle skills
Competent – Comfortable in different conditions but limited knowledge
Proficient – Confident in varying conditions, good level of knowledge of board handling and paddle technique
Expert – Confident in different weather conditions, on multiple board shapes and water states, good knowledge of board handling and paddle technique
