WATERBORN IS CHANGING!!!

We are transitioning to a Community Interest Company, we will still be doing much of what we have in the past but things might be a bit different as we shift to a much more community project focus. We look forward to Seeing you on the water!

You can support our CIC in a number of ways, join us on the water, let people know about who we are and what we do, support our crowdfunding campaigns or if you plan on making any online purchases you can do it through our Easy Fundraising extension. Welcome to Waterborn SUP

If you want to experience the joy of SUP, Waterborn has got you covered. Whether you’re a complete beginner or an old hand, you’re in safe company. Our instructors are BSUPA (Training providers for Surfing England, NGB), or Paddle UK (other NGB) qualified and expert in the sport. We are also the only ‘Red Paddle Co. Centre of Excellence’ in the UK. Plus, an added feel-good factor is that we’re all truly nice folk too!

Whether it’s a leisurely paddle along the estuary socialising with friends, team building, SUP Yoga or just trying something new, we can offer you exactly what you want to build your confidence and fitness. Take a look at the different levels of tuition and pick one that suits you – and don’t forget, we hire boards and all the kit you need to get you started. Just remember to bring towels, spare change of clothes and some sun cream

Important Updates – 

All club paddlers must wear a Personal Flotation Device and Leash (ideally Quick Release) as a mandatory kit (if you are hiring, this will come as standard)

We now Hire Tandem Kayaks from our centre in Kingbridge to help more people enjoy the estuary. 

 We are no longer based at the Crabshell Inn but we are still in Kingsbridge!  Join us at our new premises Waterborn, The Quay Carpark, Promenade, Kingsbridge, TQ7 1HN .(Spinkler.Jiggle.Tender – What 3 words)

The new skatepark is opposite and a huge success, this is an exciting time for us here and for Kingsbridge and its community. The cattlemarket carpark is a great alternative (plus much cheaper) and less than a minute walk from us, it is situated the other side of the sport centre. On Sunday Mornings the car boot sale takes place in the Quay Carpark so parking spaces are limited, please watch your speed.
